You will probably lose the the blademaster halfway through like I did but if a daughter dies you should still be able to kill him if you just keep going and burst at the right moment. You've beaten all the bosses, mastered all the classes, and clawed your way through countless missions across dozens of runs to finally make it to the final boss of the game. Also, do not place the shieldbearer or the blademaster directly above the boss as they cannot hit him through the gap between the rock and the edge of the map but the scythedancer (with deadly dance) and soulslingers can, I personally put the scythedancer above the boss. By the time you reach the final day of the fifth era in Othercide, you might feel confident in knowing all the tricks the game will throw at you. To put it into context, I have cleared arounf 53 missions with her solo, killing everything at level 10, in chapters 1-3. I used a scythedancer with deadly dance to combo him super hard, a shieldbearer using shield slam to push his initiative back as much as possible, souslingers to push daughters initiative forawrd with spirit hastes and spirit bursts, and a blademaster backstabbing (put the blademaster the opposite side of the shieldbearer to get backstabs since shield slam forces the boss to face the shieldbearer) the boss while in menacing stance as the main damage of the combo. You may have noticed my previous thread, and although I have effectively gotten all the traits on my BM, by Scythedancer seems determined to NOT ever get Killer of Nightmare Creatures. I finally managed to beat him today, you need to first get the egg to teleport into the right side of the map where the boss spawns (shieldbearer tanks the hits pretty well with blacksmith's grace) while killing the corrupted daughters, then move all your daughters in a 3x3 circle around where the boss spawns and use shadow round+menacing stance+deadly dance+shield slams to kill him before he starts pushing all your daughters initiative back.
