Your computer must accept cookies, or any successor or similar technology which may be used for the purpose of entry tracking. If your credit card is declined for any reason, no vote will be submitted on your behalf. There is a minimum of $1.00 for each online ballot.Īll authorized credit card transactions cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable. Online voting is limited to persons 18 years of age or older. Proceeds from voting will benefit the Newspaper In Education and New Mover program. You may vote as many times and for as many photos as you wish. In the event of a tie that determines final standing or elimination from the contest, voting will be extended by one day. The final round will feature the two finalists, and voting in that round will determine 1st and 2nd prize. All dogs reaching round 7 will constitute the Top 10 prize winners, and the dog finishing 3rd in round 8 will receive the 3rd place prize. A maximum of 250 dogs will qualify for the second round, and each week thereafter, approximately half of the dogs will be eliminated with each round of voting. 12Īnd so on until a winner is determined. Voting periods begin each Wednesday and end at noon on the following Monday. Voting will begin on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. Photos of artwork without proper license or ownership. Material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright infringement. Photographs must NOT contain any of the following: APG Media of Chesapeake reserves the right to refuse poor quality images. Photos should be at least 200 pixels per inch resolution, be in focus and cropped fairly close on the animal. Your photo may be published in affiliated publications of APG Media of Chesapeake. 500 dogs are guaranteed a spot in the first print edition, any submitted after will be first come first served but all dogs will be shown online for votiing.Įntries may be submitted by going to īy submitting a photo the contest entrant authorizes APG to publish the photo, along with any accompanying information, and hereby agrees to the official rules. APG is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or illegible entries. All entries must be received by noon (ET) August 15, 2022. Photos can be submitted beginning August 1, 2022. APG employees and members of their immediate family are prohibited from entering a photo or voting. APG Chesapeake proudly announces the “Bark Madness” Contest.Īll photos submitted must be dogs only.
